Who can join
Members could be previous Principal Investigators at IMBB, post doctoral researchers or students for an M.Sc. or Ph. D. degree. Visitors and technical staff at post-graduate level are also eligible. For all categories a minimum stay at IMBB for at least three months is required.
Why join?
We intend the Alumni Association of IMBB to bring together present and past members of IMBB. The association should represent the diversity over the 40 years of IMBB and the international community of our alumni.
As a member of AA-IMBB you will have:
- - Access to the dedicated webpage that will present news from the Alumni community, and from IMBB. All members will be welcome to publish news from their research group or company, job openings, and scientific achievements on the webpage.
- - A newsletter in pdf format will collect information and act as a summary of news and information.
- - Alumni meetings/events for scientific presentations and socializing.
- - Honorary alumni invited seminar. Distinguished alumnus/alumna will be invited for seminars at IMBB with remote access for Alumni members to attend.
- - Particularly in 2023, there will be a series of 40th Anniversary events at the Institute with a main activity in the summer of 2023 at FORTH and you will be able to join us at these celebrations.
- - Access to a password protected members directory so you can directly contact past IMBB members
